Singleness.
This word has meant many different things throughout my life. Sometimes this word has made me feel so alone. Sometimes it’s made me feel empowered and free. And most times this word makes me feel discontent.
When I was in college, I was asked by a friend, “What would you do if you were told you were to never get married?” Wait. What?! I must be honest and say that I freaked out! I couldn’t imagine a life without having a husband by my side to do life and ministry with. I literally had my entire life planned out and it all began from the time I was going to get married. That night was a turning point for me. I realized that I freaked out because I was waiting for “Mr. Right” to start living my life! After I repented, I lived my life completely different! Ladies, we need to stop waiting for “Mr. Right” and start being the Right Lady that the Lord wants to use right now! Be available for Him to use and be a part of Our Single Purpose!
Our Single Purpose exists for three different reasons:
- Our Single Purpose is to glorify God through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
- Our Single Purpose is to focus no longer on ourselves, but on the One who died for us!
- Our Single Purpose is to encourage one another!
